Prayers requested for Nola who has had double mastectomy to treat breast
cancer.
Prayers requested for Toni who has entered assisted care that she will enjoy the freedom from social isolation
as she adjusts to her new surroundings.
Prayers (anonymously) for freedom from financial concerns as this young
couple struggles to get out of debt.
Prayers requested for Arlene who is recently diagnosed with myasthenia
gravis. (This condition results when the body's immune system prevents the messenger, acetylcholine, from attaching
to muscle receptors.)
Prayers requested for Anthony, a 15 year old. Because of a divorce, Anthony is estranged
from his favorite uncle and intends to maintain a relationship with this uncle, even without his mother's permission.
Prayers requested for Sandra who believes she is carrying the heavy load of a tense marriage.
Prayers requested by Samantha, a teenager in Abilene, Texas, who
says she is jealous of all the attention another girl is getting and doesn't know how to change. Well, Samantha, prayers are
being lifted as we speak. And know this -- remember when God said He'd send a Counselor to guide us until Jesus returns to
earth? That Counselor is certainly available to you in your times of need. I pray that you will ask the Counselor for help
to bring peace to your heart. I would also suggest that you watch this other girl to figure out how her behavior is different
from your own. Does she smile more? Is she friendlier? Look for learning moments as you watch her behavior. And one other
point: The difference between a charming person and one who isn't is that a charming person will point out something flattering
to another person. Doesn't have to be patronizing or grand -- just a simple, "That's a nice color for you." I remember
a number of years ago when I sat a few rows behind a woman at church. Didn't know who she was by name but I jotted a note
on the back of one of those attendance cards that said, "Your hair looks like threads of gold with the sunlight shining
on it." Then I quietly folded the card in half and asked the person in front of me to hand it to her. It really perked
her up and made her feel pretty, she said later. I pray that you will find many opportunities to affirm others and enjoy answers
to your prayers. Blessings to you as you embark on a new adventure of self-discovery.
Pray for Sandy who just got the diagnosis every woman fears. Breast
cancer. We pray for health and healing for you, Sandy, as the Divine Healer guides and shapes the wisdom of your physician
who is caring for you, and all the other health professionals who will be tending to your returning health. We pray also for
the family and friends who love you. Their constance will bring you peace and comfort in the difficult times ahead. Prayers
lifted for you and all who love you.
Prayers requested for Amber who is experiencing a dilemma at work and doesn't
know which way to turn. We pray that yo will take the high moral ground on this one, Amber. "Thou shalt not steal"
is an order from God. It's not a suggestion. We pray that you will have the strength to resist the temptations that are in
front of you.
Prayers requested for Janet who thinks she is going mad and is filled with lots of adolescent anguish
at this time. Janet, we pray that you will see much of what you're experiencing as similar to what other young ladies in your
age group are also experiencing. We also pray that perfectionism will not plague you. We pray for strength and courage for
you at this time.
Prayers requested for Kate who is having some excruciating anxieties about a speech she has to
make. Kate says she isn't a public speaker but she continues to get invitations to share her experiences. We pray, Kate, that
you will not be so hard on yourself and that you will realize that other people enjoy what you share with them even if your
style is not to your own liking. Others are drawn to you for your honesty.
Pray for Mildred who just learned that she has breast cancer. Mildred
is far from loved ones and has had to rely on the kindness of caring friends to get her to chemotherapy and doctor appointments
sixty miles from her home. Pray for friends to come to her aid when she needs help getting about, and pray for health and
healing for Mildred.
Pray for Sarah and Ralph ho want to rid their marriage of domestic violence. Pray that their
separate counseling will bring them back to the joy of their marriage vows and that they can grow their love in powerful ways.
Pray that they will lean into each other again as they try to right the internal storms that threaten to shipwreck the beauty
of their love.

Prayer requested for Dean for freedom from seizures. Also Heather for
freedom from seizures.
Prayer requested for Sonjia for help with her 12 year old twins
who struggle with identity issues and addiction to electronic games.

Most fervent prayers that the United States will become a devoted country
and restored in the Christian faith that made our nation strong. Prayers that leaders will turn away from corruption and begin
serving the citizens of this country as they were elected to do.
Prayers requested for four year old Donnie who is starting to have seizures.
Pray that the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ will guide the physicians who are taking care of little Donnie, and also
for Donnie's mother and father who are very nervous. Pray that the loving embrace of our Lord and Savior will bring you calm
and peace as you cope with your fears.
Prayers for Louise and Steve who are having marriage struggles. Pray
that Steve will change his mind about divorce and that their lives will return to happier days before they became expectant
parents.

Pray this every day even if you don't feel like it. It will only
take a minute! I started not to do this, but as I read it,
I understood God to say, "You need a miracle in your life," -- so here goes. Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank you for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed
because you are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and you keep on blessing me. Forgive
me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new
attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from you.
Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And
give the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I
know that when I don't pray, you listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do your will. Continue to bless me that I may
be a blessing to others. Keep me strong so that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement
for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood.
I pray for those who don't know you intimately. I pray for those who don't believe. But I thank you that I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my brothers and sisters
in Christ. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are
out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or
situation greater than God. Every battle is in your hands for you to fight. I pray that these words will be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it. God, I love you and I need you. Come into my heart, please. I
pray that you would protect me from Satan and all that is evil, so that I will not cause pain. I pray for peace among all men and women throughout the world. Amen.
