PLEASE NOTE: If
you would like to participate in a group prayer, every night stop what you are doing to spend one minute praying for the safety
of the United States, our troops, our citizens, peace in the world and the upcoming elections. Each evening at 9 pm Easter,
8 pm Central, 7 pm Mountain, 6 pm Pacific and 5 pm Alaska time, devote one minute to praying for these concerns.
Be sure to type "Prayer Request" in
the subject line of your e-mail.
Prayer Requests will remain for at least three weeks. After that, please let us know how you
are doing and whether or not you wish to continue the prayer request for an additional three weeks.
For where
two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them. - Matthew 18:20
I share with you the words
founds in Mark 11: 24, 25 -- Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you
have received it, and it will be yours. As you send in your prayer
request, please also lift up these folks and their concerns when you pray:
Pray this every day even if you don't feel like it. It will only
take a minute! I started not to do this, but as I read it,
I understood God to say, "You need a miracle in your life," -- so here goes. Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank you for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed
because you are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and you keep on blessing me. Forgive
me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new
attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from you.
Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And
give the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I
know that when I don't pray, you listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do your will. Continue to bless me that I may
be a blessing to others. Keep me strong so that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement
for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood.
I pray for those who don't know you intimately. I pray for those who don't believe. But I thank you that I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my brothers and sisters
in Christ. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are
out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or
situation greater than God. Every battle is in your hands for you to fight. I pray that these words will be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it. God, I love you and I need you. Come into my heart, please. I
pray that you would protect me from Satan and all that is evil, so that I will not cause pain. I pray for peace among all men and women throughout the world. Amen.

Prayer request from Bill S. in Paducah. We pray for all the victims of the very large
6.1 earthquake in China. Some 180,000 people have lost their homes. We lift our prayers for their safety as they get through
these next few weeks of trauma and crises. We also pray for all the people
who live in the gulf states who are bracing for hurricanes. It looks like Louisiana may be hit the hardest and they were still
repairing from Katrina. We pray for their safety and we pray that their homes will still be standing when they come back from
the places they went to during the evacuation. We pray for Vice Presidential

We pray that God's peace and comfort will embrace Mrs. Palin and that she will be able to disregard the ugliness of the
vicious attacks.

ones.

with all our nephews and their families in Louisville, KY area.
Pray for a young couple whose 23 month old child drowned in the family swimming
pool. Prayers lifted for comfort and peace in the wake of this horrific family tragedy. Don't have their names yet, but
God knows who they are.
Prayers are lifted for Stephen L. in the United Kingdom. Stephen is searching
for spiritual development and wants to know God in his life. Prayers to you Stephen for your continued peace and comfort that
comes from knowing forgiveness is yours -- just for the asking. Truly God is awesome and he loves you. There must
be great joy in heaven just knowing that you are searching for God. -- Jane
